Senior Taylor Friedman competed in three total final competitions for the Pioneers

Women’s Swimming and Diving Sits in Seventh After Third Day of Mets

PISCATAWAY, N.J. – The William Paterson women's swimming and diving team sits in seventh place out of 14 Division III teams and seventh out of 16 total teams competing after day three of the Metropolitan Championships, Feb. 19.
 
 
TOP PERFORMERS:
  • Senior Taylor Friedman (South Amboy, N.J./Sayreville War Memorial) individually represented the Pioneers in the 100 back B-final where she finished seventh (1:03.60) and the 100 fly C-final where she placed third (1:01.65).
  • Senior Megan Hoopes (Westmont, N.J./Haddon Twp.) advanced to the C-final in the 400 IM where she earned first with a time of 5:00.48.
  • The 200 free relay team consisted of Hoopes, Friedman, sophomore Hailey Krajewski (Clifton, N.J./DePaul Catholic), and sophomore Abigail Malandro (Beach Haven, N.J./Southern Regional). The group placed sixth overall with a time of 1:43.43.
