TRENTON, N.J.- The William Paterson women's swimming & diving (9-4, 0-4 NJAC) was defeated on the road at the College of New Jersey (4-2, 3-1 NJAC), 129-49 on Feb. 1.
 
TOP PERFORMERS:

• Sophomore Abigail Malandro (Beach Haven, N.J./Southern Regional) registered three second-place finishes for the Pioneers in the 50 free (26.57), 100 free (59.93), and 200 free (2:16.45).
• Senior Taylor Friedman (South Amboy, N.J./Sayreville War Memorial) finished second in the 200 back with a time of 2:23.23 and the 200 IM with a time of 2:30.09.
• Junior Emily Murphy (Stockholm, N.J./Wallkill Valley Regional) contributed to the Pioneer total, touching the wall second in the 100 back (1:22.31) and touching third in both the 200 back (2:53.82) and 200 IM (2:54.92).
