GLASSBORO, N.J. – Numerous Pioneers notched personal best times, but the William Paterson women's swimming and diving team (3-2, 0-1 NJAC) was overcome by Rowan (4-1, 3-0 NJAC), 143-79, in its first conference meet of the season Nov. 9.
TOP PERFORMERS:
- Senior Quinn Reynolds (Delran, N.J./Delran) earned first place in the 500 free with a time of 26.96, and swam a strong time of 1:03.63 to touch second in the 100 back.
- Diver Ashley Lawler (Linwood, N.J./Mainland Regional) came in second in the three meter dive by scoring 199.95 points. The junior came in third in the one meter dive with 194.85 points.
- Junior Anna Boyton (Sewell, N.J./Clearview Regional) came in second in the 100 back with a time of 107.76.
INSIDE THE NUMBERS:
- Senior Casey Murphy (Hardyston, N.J./Wallkill Valley Regional) recorded two personal best times in the meet, first by swimming the 1000 free in 11:55.88, then by swimming the 500 free in 5:46.68.
- Sophomore Sara Haller (Cupertino, Calif. /Monta Vista) recorded her first collegiate diving appearance, earning 179.03 points in the one meter dive.
- Morgan Hodges (Howell, N.J./Freehold Twp.) notched a personal best in the 200 free. The freshman touched the wall in 107.76.
