PISCATAWAY, N.J. – The William Paterson men's swimming and diving team concluded its season at the Metropolitan Championships Feb. 21, finishing 10th out of 16 teams overall and sixth of 11 Division III schools.
Junior
Jeremy Oiler (Hamilton, N.J./Nottingham) placed 19th in the 1,650 free with a time of 17:53.57, and senior
James Kehoe (Wayne, N.J./DePaul Catholic) touched in 26th (22:55.89).
Sophomore
Anthony Taboadela (Rockaway, N.J./Morris Hills) swam the 200 back in 2:03.93 to secure eighth in the C Final, while freshman
Drew Macchia (Chatham, N.J./Chatham) completed the 100 free (48.14) with his personal-best time, landing in seventh place in the C Final.
The Pioneers' 400 free relay team of Taboadela, Macchia, senior
Nicolai Robinson (Matawan, N.J./Old Bridge) and junior
Nick Cowie (Newton, N.J./Newton) completed an impressive time of 3:19.34 and earned 12th place.
