GLASSBORO, N.J. – The William Paterson men's swimming and diving team (5-3, 0-1 NJAC) fell, 175-59, at Rowan (3-0, 1-0 NJAC) in the New Jersey Athletic Conference (NJAC) opener Nov. 1.
WP won the 200 free relay behind an effort that included three rookies. Freshman
Eamon Logue (Vernon, N.J./Vernon Twp.), senior
Grant Ashcraft (Penns Grove, N.J./Woodstown), freshman
Daniel Sweeney (Highland Lakes, N.J./Vernon Twp.) and freshman
Terrence Hopkins (Landing, N.J./Roxbury) touched first to claim the victory (1:41.45).
Junior
Anthony Taboadela (Rockaway, N.J./Morris Hills) swam season-best times in the 200 IM (2:01.19) and 500 free (5:11.34).
WP will host Purchase Tuesday, Nov. 15, at 6:00 p.m.
