History was made when senior
Gennaro Sirianni (North Bergen, N.J./North Bergen) and junior
Kenny Kneitel (Paramus, N.J./Paramus) attempted the first one-meter synchronized dive in school history. The pair won the event with a score of 147.97. Sirianni also won the three-meter dive (214.25).
Sophomore
Anthony Taboadela (Rockaway, N.J./Morris Hills) captured three events, winning the 200 IM (2:06.50), 200 back (1:59.36) and 200 breast (2:24.16).
Junior
Jeremy Oiler (Hamilton, N.J./Nottingham) was a double winner, touching first in the 200 (1:59.13) and 500 (5:35.29) frees. Freshman
Drew Macchia (Chatham, N.J./Chatham) also won two events, the 50 (23.18) and 100 (52.62) frees.
Senior
Nicolai Robinson (Matawan, N.J./Old Bridge) triumphed in the 1,000 free (12.13.33), and junior
Nick Cowie (Newton, N.J./Newton) won the 200 fly (2:13.31).
The Pioneers will travel to Bard Saturday, Jan. 23, beginning at 1:00 p.m.
