GENEVA, N.Y. – Top-seeded Brittany LaBruna (Bloomingdale, N.J./Continental Academy) of William Paterson advanced to the United States Tennis Association (USTA)/Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) Northeast Regional semifinal round with a pair of victories during the second day of competition Sept. 28 at William Smith College.
 
The sophomore all-American and defending regional champion improved to 10-0 this season with wins against Skidmore's Erika Meno, 6-2, 6-2, and Vassar's Ava Sadeghi, 7-6 (7-5), 4-6, 6-3, to reach the semifinals. She will next take on Brittany Reedman of The College of New Jersey Monday, Sept. 29, at 9:00 a.m.
