WAYNE, N.J. – The William Paterson tennis team (6-5) finished its season with a 5-2 victory against visiting Purchase (8-4) April 26.
 
The Pioneers received forfeit victories at third doubles and sixth singles. Junior Jessica Daniles (Edison, N.J./Edison) won her third-singles match, 6-3, 2-3, retired against Jasmine Rippey, and sophomore Summer Bernales (Jersey City, N.J./Dickinson) was a 6-1, 6-1 winner at fifth singles against Erika Fulton.
 
Daniels and senior Mary Skretkowicz (Midland Park, N.J./Midland Park) were 8-2 winners at second doubles against Rippey and Lilly Murray.
 
The first and second singles matches were not completed due to rain.
