Men’s Swimming & Diving Completes Day Two of Metropolitan Championships

Relays Pace Pioneers

Junior Evan Marine finished seventh in the 100 back C Final for the Pioneers.
PISCATAWAY, N.J. - Senior Nikolas Frey (Hackensack, N.J./Hackensack), junior Evan Marine (Forked River, N.J./Lacey Twp), sophomore Eric Tracey (Newton, N.J./Kittatinny Regional) and freshman Nick Cowie (Newton, N.J./Newton) finished sixth in the 200 medley relay B Final (1:43.47) to pace the William Paterson men's swimming & diving team during the second day of the Metropolitan Championships Feb 15, at Rutgers University. 

Freshman Jeremy Oiler (Hamilton, N.J./Nottingham) touched sixth in the 400 IM C Final (4:43.08).

Marine also finished seventh in the 100 back C Final with a time of 57.74.

The 800 free relay team of senior Troy Buglio (Toms River, N.J./Toms River East), senior Corey Matthews (Toms River, N.J./Toms River North), junior Bobby Boyton (Sewell, N.J./Clearview Regional) and sophomore Nicolai Robinson (Matawan, N.J./Old Bridge) placed ninth (7:28.11).

William Paterson will continue competition at the Metropolitan Championships February 16.
