MONTCLAIR, N.J. – The William Paterson women's swimming & diving team (11-5, 0-4 NJAC) was defeated by Montclair State (7-4, 2-2 NJAC), 167-118, Feb. 1.
Freshman
Courtney Lawler (Northfield, N.J./Mainland Regional) was a double winning for the Pioneers, recording scores of 146.10 in the one-meter dive (five dives) and 188.92 in the one-meter dive (six dives).
Freshman
Vera Blazevska (Wayne, N.J./Wayne Valley) finished the season undefeated in the 200 breast, touching first with a time of 2:33.61. She also took second in the 100 breast (1:12.62).
Junior
Sheri Brino (Ogdensburg, N.J./Wallkill Valley Regional) placed second in the 100 (1:07.70) and 200 (2:27.70) backs.
William Paterson will compete in the Metropolitan Championships February 14-16 at Rutgers.
