Video Highlights WAYNE, N.J. – The Pioneers won every race as the William Paterson women's swimming and diving team (6-2) rolled to a 92-59 home victory Dec. 2 against Mount Saint Vincent (1-8).
Sophomore
Vera Blazevska (Wayne, N.J./Wayne Valley) touched first in the 200 IM (2:34.18) and 100 breast (1:20.26), and junior
Brittany English (Branchville, N.J./High Point Regional) earned wins in the 100 (1:00.09) and 200 (2:11.12) frees.
Senior
Sheri Brino (Ogdensburg, N.J./Wallkill Valley Regional) finished first in the 1,000 free (12:36.77) and 100 back (1:09.35), while sophomore
Courtney Lawler (Northfield, N.J./Mainland Regional) won the one-meter (225.3) and three-meter (203.17) dives.
Freshman
Kacie Holt (Belleplain, N.J./Cape May Tech) had a personal-best time of 27.38 in the 50 free, sophomore
Cassandra Beck (Lusby, Md./Patuxent) posted a victory in the 500 free (6:25.58), and classmate
Christine Gustafson (Clifton, N.J./Clifton) earned a win in the 100 fly (1:05.85).
The Pioneers will compete at Mount Saint Mary Saturday, Dec. 6, at 1:00 p.m.
