Men’s Swimming & Diving Suffers Loss to TCNJ

Pioneers Fall 180-109

WAYNE, N.J. – The William Paterson men's swimming & diving team (7-3, 0-2 NJAC) suffered a 180-109 loss to The College of New Jersey (5-2, 3-0) Jan. 18.

Freshman Jeremy Oiler (Hamilton, N.J./Nottingham) recorded a winning time of 18:50.56 in the 1,650 free for the Pioneers.

Senior Jeffrey Jaeckel (Kenilworth, N.J./David Brearley) placed second in the one-meter (239.17) and three-meter (249.15) dives.

Sophomore Eric Tracey (Newton, N.J./Kittatinny Regional) touched second in the 100 free (52.08), and freshman Nick Cowie (Newton, N.J./Newton) finished second in the 100 fly (56.41).

Sophomore Nicolai Robinson (Matawan, N.J./Old Bridge) placed third in the 200 free (1:57.11).

William Paterson will celebrate Senior Day when it hosts Lehman on Thursday, Jan. 23, at 6:00 p.m.
