WAYNE, N.J. – The William Paterson men's swimming & diving team (7-2) earned a 126-115 victory against visiting Division II Queens (1-4) Jan. 15.
Senior
Jeffrey Jaeckel (Kenilworth, N.J./David Brearley) was a double winner for the Pioneers, taking first in the one-meter (167.30) and one-meter optional (224.80) dives.
Freshman
Jeremy Oiler (Hamilton, N.J./Nottingham) picked up his first career double win, touching first in the 500 (5:28.05) and 1,000 (11:14.09) frees.
Once again, the Pioneers relied on their depth and their ability to take second and third place in races to win the meet.
William Paterson will host The College of New Jersey on Saturday, Jan. 18, at 1:00 p.m.
