Box Score OWINGS MILLS, Md. – The William Paterson women's soccer team (1-2-1) suffered a 2-1 loss to Stevenson (4-1) in the Stevenson Tournament Sept. 8.

Senior forward Sheray Anthony (Cherry Hill, N.J./Cherry Hill West) put the Pioneers on the board in the 42nd minute when she collected her own rebound in front of the net and lifted a shot over the goalkeeper's head to give WP a 1-0 lead.

Stevenson tied the match when Kaylie Yapps headed a free kick from Shannon McGuire into the net at the 74:46 mark.

The Mustangs took the lead in the 88th minute when Alexis Siejack blasted a shot from the far left corner to bring the score to 2-1.

Senior Alyssa Falduto (Nutley, N.J./Nutley) made 11 saves for the Pioneers, and Annie McCoach stopped one shot for Stevenson.

William Paterson will travel to Centenary Wednesday, Sept. 11, at 6:00 p.m.
