Box Score FARMINGDALE, N.Y. – Sophomore
Jose Arevalo (North Haledon, N.J./St. Benedict's Prep) found the back of the net twice and the William Paterson men's soccer team (5-0-1) remained unbeaten with a 2-0 triumph at Farmingdale State (1-4) Sept. 14.
Arevalo struck from 15 yards out, his third goal of the year, 2:29 before halftime to break the scoreless tie. He converted again in the 75th minute, this time after being set up in front of the goal by freshman Leandro
Lemache (Carteret, N.J./St. Benedict's Prep). WP dominated in the offensive third, owning a 23-5 shot advantage.
Freshman
Matt Hernandez (Fort Lee, N.J./Fort Lee) made three saves for the Pioneers, and Angelo Viteritti had 11 for the Rams.
William Paterson will play at Stevens Wednesday, Sept. 18, at 7:00 p.m.
