Women’s Swimming & Diving Suffers a 171-102 Loss to Montclair State

McKay a Winner for the Pioneers

Senior Taylor McKay was a winner for the Pioneers
WAYNE, N.J. – The William Paterson women's swimming and diving team (8-7, 0-4 NJAC) was defeated by visiting Montclair State (6-5, 1-2 NJAC), 171-102, Feb. 2.

Senior Taylor McKay (Fair Lawn, N.J./Fair Lawn) placed first in the 100 fly (1:06.56), and posted a solid time of 2:28.71 in the 200 fly.

Freshman Brittany English (Branchville, N.J./High Point Regional) recorded a good time of 6:03.39 in the 500 free, and senior Kerry Doris (East Brunswick, N.J./East Brunswick) finished the 200 IM in 2:34.84.

Junior Katie Jeon (Fort Lee, N.J./Fort Lee) took first in the three-meter dive with a score of 150.90.

William Paterson will compete in the Metropolitan Championships February 15-17 at Rutgers.
