PISCATAWAY, N.J. – William Paterson's men's swimming and diving team finished sixth of 11 Division III teams at the Metropolitan Championships Feb. 17 at Rutgers University.
Junior
Jeffrey Jaeckel (Kenilworth, N.J./David Brearley) placed fourth in the three-meter dive A Final (405.10), and sophomore
Evan Marine (Forked River, N.J./Lacey Twp.) took eighth in the 200 back C Finals (2:06.31).

Sebastian Schrils (Washington, N.J./Warren Hills Regional),sophomore
Donado Dervishi (Garfield, N.J./Garfield), senior
Alex Carpenter (Jackson, N.J./Jackson Memorial) and freshman
Nicolai Robinson (Matawan, N.J./Old Bridge) posted a time of 3:19.17 to place sixth in the 400 free relay B Final.
In the 1,650 free, junior
Troy Buglio (Toms River, N.J./Toms River East) touched 24th (17:45.03), freshman
Corey Matthews (Toms River, N.J. / Toms River North) placed 25th (17:58.23), and freshman
Joey Stefan (North Brunswick, N.J./North Brunswick Twp.) took 29th (18:43.69).
Schrils placed fourth in the 200 fly C Final (2:05.45), and Carpenter touched seventh (2:07.16).
