WAYNE, N.J. – The William Paterson women's swimming & diving team (4-1, 0-1 NJAC) was defeated by visiting Rowan (4-0, 1-0 NJAC), 157-120, Nov. 6.

Freshman Vera Blazevska (Wayne, N.J./Wayne Valley) was a double winner for the Pioneers, touching first in the 100 (1:12.10) and 200 (2:34.17) breasts.

Sophomore Gabrielle Porcaro (Belleville, N.J./Belleville) posted a personal-best time of 12:13.98 to win the 1,000 free.

William Paterson will travel to the College of Saint Elizabeth on Wednesday, Nov. 13, at 6:00 p.m.
