Men’s Swimming & Diving Falls to Rowan

Pioneers Defeated, 161-122

WAYNE, N.J. – The William Paterson men's swimming & diving team (4-1, 0-1 NJAC) suffered a 161-122 loss to visiting Rowan (4-0, 1-0 NJAC) Nov. 6.

Freshman Nick Cowie (Newton, N.J./Newton) touched second in the 100 (56.16) and 200 (2:14.66) flies, both personal-best times.

Junior Evan Marine (Forked River, N.J./Lacey Twp.) took second in the 200 back in 2:13.63, and senior Corey Matthews (Toms River, N.J./Toms River North) finished second in the 500 free (5:25.70).

Sophomore Zachary Krakauskas (Egg Harbor City, N.J /Absegami) touched second in the 100 back with a time of 1:81.00.

William Paterson will host the College of Staten Island on Wednesday, Nov. 20, at 6:00 p.m.
