Back-to-back singles by Gibbons and Dorio were highlighted by a middle-infield single by senior Jack Montanile (Weehawken, N.J./Hudson Catholic), allowing Gibbons to trot home in the sixth inning.  Fondacaro doubled down the left-field line to start the seventh inning.  Fondacaro and sophomore A.J. Flores (West Orange, N.J./West Orange) scored on a Gibbons single up the middle.  Ptaszynski had reached on a walk earlier in the inning, and was later able to scamper home on a passed ball.  Gibbons scored on a Montanile single, cutting the lead, 11-9.

Cameron Susk led off the bottom of the seventh with a walk, and scored on a Thomas Stevens home run, tacking on two more runs for the Ephs to push the score to a final 13-9 score.
