Women’s Swimming & Diving Loses at Montclair State

Pioneers Suffer 158-121 Defeat

Senior Jaimie Hinshelwood helped the Pioneers win the 200 medley relay (2:01.94) at Montclair State.
MONTCLAIR, N.J. – The William Paterson women's swimming and diving team (9-6, 0-4 NJAC) suffered a 158-121 loss at Montclair State (5-6, 2-2 NJAC) Feb. 4.

The 200 medley relay team of freshman Sheri Brino (Ogdensburg, N.J./Wallkill Valley Regional), senior Brett Kuchin (Cherry Hill, N.J./Cherry Hill East), senior Stephanie Smith (West Orange, N.J./West Orange) and senior Jaimie Hinshelwood (Forked River, N.J./Lacey Twp.) touched first in a time of 2:01.94.

Kuchin was second in the 200 back (2:26.55) and 200 IM (2:31.08), while Brino was second in the 100 back (1:06.17).

William Paterson will compete at the Metropolitan Championships Feb. 17-19 at Rutgers.
