Men’s Swimming & Diving Falls to NJIT

Pioneers Suffer 132.5-97.5 Loss

WAYNE, N.J. – The William Paterson men's swimming and diving team (0-2) suffered a 132.5-97.5 loss to visiting Division I NJIT (1-0) Nov. 7.

Sophomore Evan Marine (Forked River, N.J./Lacey Twp.) touched first in the 100 back (1:01.70), and the 200 medley relay team of Marine, Donado Dervishi (Garfield, N.J./Garfield), Sebastian Schrils (Washington, N.J./Warren Hills Regional) and Alex Carpenter (Jackson, N.J./Jackson Memorial) turned in a winning time of 1:45.01.

Junior Jeffrey Jaeckel (Kenilworth, N.J./David Brearley) placed first in the one-meter (215.85) and three-meter (191.02) dives.

William Paterson will travel to Rowan Saturday, Nov. 10, at 1:00 p.m.
