WAYNE, N.J. – Freshman Sheri Brino (Ogdensburg, N.J./Wallkill Valley Regional) and sophomore Lauren Carney (East Brunswick, N.J./East Brunswick) were both double winners as the William Paterson women's swimming and diving team (8-3) defeated Division II Queens (1-8), 133-100, Jan. 18.

Brino posted winning times of 12:06.59 in the 1,000 free and 2:24.57 in the 200 back.  Carney won the 50 (27.71) and 100 (1:00.07) frees.

Senior Brett Kuchin (Cherry Hill, N.J./Cherry Hill East) touched first in the 200 breast (2:44.04), and the 400 medley relay of Brino, Kuchin, Lesly Mendoza (Passaic, N.J./Paramus Catholic) and Carney finished first in a time of 4:32.24.

WP will host The College of New Jersey Saturday, Jan. 21, at 1:00 p.m.
