FARMINGDALE, N.Y. – The William Paterson men's soccer team (7-0-1, 1-0 NJAC) remained undefeated with a 3-0 victory at Farmingdale State (2-5) Sept. 19.
Senior
Domenick Candelieri (Pennsauken, N.J./Pennsauken) scored his first goal of the day in the 28th minute, and freshman
Jason Mena (North Arlington, N.J./North Arlington) cleaned up a rebound 11 minutes later for his first career score. Candelieri then finished things off with a goal off a scramble in the 86th minute.
Senior
Zach Collins (Bayville, N.J./Central Regional) played the first 75:25 and was lifted for freshman
Ben Horowitz (Spotswood, N.J./Spotswood). The two didn't need to make a save as WP enjoyed a 28-2 shot advantage. Matthew Ward had 13 stops for the Rams.
William Paterson will play at Montclair State Wednesday, Sept. 21, at 7:00 p.m.
