Anthony Ferrer (Lake Hiawatha, N.J./Parsippany) scored during the 70th minute of play to lift the William Paterson men's soccer team (4-0-1) to its fourth straight victory, a 1-0 win against North Carolina Wesleyan (0-2-2) in the first round of Rutgers-Camden's Cialella Soccer Classic Sept. 10.

Jake Weinberg (Paramus, N.J./Paramus) chipped the ball over the defense and Ferrer ran onto it, took it down low on the left side of the goal and angled a shot into the right panel. It was his third goal of the season.
William Paterson owned a 17-5 shot advantage and a 13-4 edge in corner kicks. Freshman
Ben Horowitz (Spotswood, N.J./Spotswood) played the first 45:00 in goal, and senior goalkeeper
Zach Collins (Bayville, N.J./Central Regional) made one second-half save. North Carolina Wesleyan's Alberto Faisca had eight stops.
William Paterson will finish play at the Cialella Soccer Classic Sunday, Sept. 11, taking on Hunter at 2:00 p.m.
