MADISON, N.J. – William Paterson (14-4-3) rallied from a late 2-0 deficit to advance to the ECAC Metro Tournament final with a 3-2 overtime victory against Richard Stockton (12-7-4) in the semifinal round Nov. 12 at Drew University.
The second-seeded Pioneers will face fourth-seeded Rutgers-Newark in the championship match Sunday, Nov. 13, at 1:00 p.m. at Drew. The Scarlet Raiders scored a 1-0 upset of the top-seeded Rangers in the day's other semifinal. This will mark the third time WP and Rutgers-Newark have met this season. The two teams played to a 1-1 double-overtime draw during the regular season (Oct. 22), and the Pioneers earned a 2-1 overtime win in the first round of the NJAC Tournament (Oct. 31).
Anthony Procopio handed the Ospreys a 1-0 advantage when he worked a give-and-go in the middle of the field, shooting and scoring from the left side in the 14th minute. Richard Stockton doubled its lead in the 82nd minute when Pat Rafferty crossed a ball from the end line and Brennen Fitzsimmons knocked it in to an empty net.

Ferrer ended the match with his team-leading 14th goal of the season, connecting on a pass from junior
Michael Encarnacion (Franklin, N.J./Passaic County Tech) 2:43 into the extra time.
Zach Collins (Bayville, N.J./Central Regional) made seven saves for William Paterson, and Lou Herring had five for Richard Stockton.
