WAYNE, N.J. – No. 22/22 William Paterson (15-2) turned 34 Saint Elizabeth (5-10) turnovers into 40 points as the Pioneers cruised to an 88-54 women's basketball victory Jan. 19 at the Rec Center.

William Paterson jumped out to an early lead on visiting Saint Elizabeth, going ahead by as many as 19 points during the first half of play. The Pioneers put up a dominating 24 points in the paint as well as 21 points off of 13 turnovers, taking a 48-29 lead into the locker room. That advantage grew steadily during the second period, aided by a 13-0 run early in the half to make it a 32-point game at 71-39 with 11:23 remaining.
Maesoon Deeb led four Screaming Eagles in double figures with 15 points, adding eight rebounds. Sabrina Jarmolinski had 14 tallies and six boards.
The Pioneers finished with a 34-12 advantage in turnovers forced and a 40-9 margin in points scored off those miscues. WP dominated on the boards, 49-35, and took advantage of 26 offensive rebounds for a 25-4 advantage in second-chance points.
