Pioneers Register Third Straight Win

Freshman Mike Lowe's team-leading fifth goal of the year was the game winner at Richard Stockton.

POMONA, N.J. -- Freshman Mike Lowe (Wilmington, Del./Alexis I. duPont) contributed the lone goal of the day as the William Paterson men's soccer team (5-1-1, 2-0 NJAC) defeated host Richard Stockton (4-4, 0-2 NJAC), 1-0, on Sept. 25.

Sophomore Michael Encarnacion (Franklin, N.J./Passaic County Tech) contributed the assist as Lowe scored his team-leading fifth goal of the year during the 70th minute against the Ospreys.

William Paterson owned a 14-6 edge in shots and a 5-1 advantage in corner kicks. Junior Zach Collins (Bayville, N.J./Central Regional) had three saves for the Pioneers, and Tim Brett made five stops for Richard Stockton.

William Paterson will host Ramapo Wednesday, Sept. 29, at 7:00 p.m.
