GLASSBORO, N.J. – William Paterson (0-1, 0-1 NJAC) opened its 2010-11 women's swimming and diving season with a 129-87 loss at Rowan (1-0, 1-0 NJAC) Oct. 23.

Junior Brett Kuchin (Cherry Hill, N.J./Cherry Hill East) touched second in the 100 breast (1:12.89) to lead the Pioneers. Freshman Giuliana Trapani (Mountain Lakes, N.J./Mountain Lakes) was third in the 50 free (26.64) in her collegiate debut.

William Paterson will begin its home slate Tuesday, Oct. 26, against St. Joseph's-Long Island at 6:00 p.m.
