EWING, N.J. – The William Paterson men's swimming and diving team (8-2, 0-2 NJAC) saw its eight-meet win streak come to end with a 167-117 loss at The College of New Jersey (9-1, 3-0 NJAC) Jan. 25.
Junior
Voyta Karas (Brno, Czech Republic) earned the Pioneers' lone individual victory with a 48.86 swim in the 100 free.
Second-place efforts were turned in by Karas in the 50 (22.06) and 200 (1:47.67) frees, senior
David Caputo (Staten Island, N.Y./Curtis) in the 500 free (5:14.86) and 200 IM (2:11.65), senior
Michael O'Shea (Edgewater, N.J./Leonia) in the one-meter (225.00) and three-meter (205.20) dives, junior
Jeremy Lim (Clifton, N.J./Clifton) in the 100 fly (59.18), and junior
Stefan Rosales (Rahway, N.J./St. Joseph's-Metuchen) in the 100 back (59.20).
William Paterson will return to Wightman Pool Tuesday, Feb. 3, when the Pioneers host Ramapo at 6:00 p.m.
