Lauren Frazier's (Glassboro, N.J./Glassboro) from outside the circle, slamming the ball home for a 2-0 edge two minutes later, and Winkelspecht made it a 3-0 game 43 seconds before halftime when she poked in a
Lauren Duensing (Lincoln Park, N.J./Boonton) pass on the line.
Senior
Tina Londino (Gloucester City, N.J./Gloucester City) slipped a ball to
Meghan Hall (Turnersville, N.J./Washington Twp.), who scored her fourth goal of the year for a 4-0 game in the 39th minute. Two minutes later, Ayusa added her second score of the day when she finished a Hall pass from the right end line, and junior
Jodi Feriod (Glassboro, N.J./Glassboro) finished the scoring for WP in the 45th minute off an assist from Londino.
Neither team was able to find the back of the cage again after the skies opened and a heavy rain began to fall with 20 minutes remaining, the leading edge of Tropical Storm Hanna.
William Paterson will return to action Sunday, Sept. 7, hosting RPI at 1:00 p.m.
