NEWBURGH, N.Y. – The William Paterson women's swimming and diving team won its fourth straight Mount Saint Mary Invitational title, compiling 545 team points Nov. 1.
The Pioneers finished first of four teams, ahead of MSMC (316), St. Joseph's-Long Island (271) and SUNY Maritime (183).

Grace McKay (Fair Lawn, N.J./Fair Lawn) was a triple winner for William Paterson, touching first in the 200 IM (2:28.00), 100 fly (1:04.03) and 100 IM (1:06.62). Senior
Cathy Hartwell (Toms River, N.J./Toms River East) was victorious in the 50 (26.60) and 100 (56.99) frees, freshman
Brett Kuchin (Cherry Hill, N.J./Cherry Hill East) was the winner of the 50 (32.94) and 100 (1:13.72) breasts, and sophomore
Tara Graham (Rockaway, N.J./Morris Hills) was first in the 50 (33.72) and 100 (1:11.07) backs. Freshman
Lesly Mendoza (Passaic, N.J./Paramus Catholic) touched first in the 50 fly (29.97), and sophomore
Lauren Horowitz (Hillsborough, N.J./Hillsborough) was victorious in the 500 free (5:57.37). The Pioneers won every individual event with the exception of the 200 free.
William Paterson will return to campus Tuesday, Nov. 4, hosting SUNY Maritime at 6:00 p.m.
