POMONA , N.J. – Freshman Danny Kusnic (Ringwood, N.J./Lakeland Regional) found the back of the goal twice to lead the William Paterson men's soccer team (4-1) to a 2-0 victory against SUNY Farmingdale (0-3) at the Richard Stockton Seashore Classic Sept. 8.

Kusnic broke into the scoring column with a low blast from just inside the penalty area in the 35th minute, and he gave the Pioneers the 2-0 lead when he knocked in a rebound of a Jonathan Donado (Wayne, N.J./Wayne Valley) shot in the 53rd minute. Sophomore Dan Peragallo (North Brunswick, N.J./North Brunswick) made two saves for the shutout victory.

Kusnic was joined on the All-Tournament Team by freshman backs Gary Barrell (Kent, England, The Towers School) and Joe Strawman (Ringoes, N.J./Hunterdon Central), and freshman midfielder Dan Fulmer (Andover, N.J./Newton).

The Pioneers will look to extend their winning streak to five games when they host FDU-Florham Wednesday, Sept. 12, at 4:00 p.m.
