ONEONTA, N.Y. – The William Paterson women's soccer team (1-1) suffered its first loss of the season, a 1-0 defeat at the hands of Marywood (2-0) in the championship match of Hartwick's Erinn Brozeman Memorial Cup Sept. 2.

Junior goalkeeper Caitlin Kiernan (Wayne, N.J./Wayne Hills) played the first half in goal, making three saves, while sophomore Meaghan Baker (Rockaway, N.J./Morris Knolls) played the final 45:00 and allowed the lone goal and making one stop.

The Pioneers will play their first home match of the season Tuesday, Sept. 4, against Scranton at 7:00 p.m.
