Women’s Fencing

• First WPC fencer to win the National Intercollegiate Women’s Fencing Association Individual Championship, 1956
• Led her senior-year team to the College’s first NIWFA National Championship
• The first WPC fencer to achieve an “A” classification in the Amateur Fencers League of America
• Won more than 30 medals in the AFLA
• Served as national president of NIWFA, 1955-56
• A medalist in the North Atlantic Sectional AFLA Championships, 1953, 1954, 1955, and 1956
