WAYNE, N.J. – William Paterson junior Lindsey Nadolny (Belford, N.J./Middletown North) earned a second-straight spot on the National Fastpitch Coaches Association (NFCA) All-East Region First Team, while classmate Jenna Vitale (Kenilworth, N.J./David Brearley) was a second-team pick, the NFCA office announced May 14.

Previously named to the 2009 All-New Jersey Athletic Conference (NJAC) First Team and the 2008 and 2010 All-NJAC Second Teams, Nadolny led the Pioneers with 31 runs scored, a .424 on-base percentage and 15 walks, and ranked second with a .344 batting average and 10 doubles. A starter in 41 games who made just two errors at second base (.989 fielding percentage), she added three home runs, 17 RBI and a .516 slugging percentage. Selected to the 2009 Louisville Slugger/NFCA All-East Region and ECAC All-Metro Region First Teams, she has hit .388 in 118 career games (116 starts) with 25 doubles, nine triples, 10 home runs, 79 RBI and 82 runs scored.

Selected to the 2009 Louisville Slugger/ NFCA All-East Region, ECAC All-Metro Region and All-NJAC First Teams, Vitale leads the conference in doubles (16) while starting in all 42 games this spring. A first baseman/pitcher, the second-team all-NJAC pick hit .326 with a .558 slugging percentage, four home runs and 18 runs scored, and paced the Pioneers with 29 RBI and four sacrifice flies. Also 7-2 with a 2.91 ERA inside the circle this spring, her 40 doubles are two shy of matching the WP career record.

William Paterson finished the season 26-15-1 overall and 11-7 in conference play.
