WAYNE, N.J. – Senior
Voyta Karas (Brno, Czech Republic) established a new school record in the 200 IM with a time of 2:00.54 as William Paterson (7-2, 0-2 NJAC) lost to visiting The College of New Jersey (8-1, 3-0 NJAC), 159.5 – 116.5, on Senior Day Jan. 24 at Wightman Pool.
In addition to his record-setting swim for a victory in the 200 IM, Karas also touched first in the 50 free (22.25). Senior
Kirk Smith (West Orange, N.J./West Orange) tied for the top spot in the 100 breast (1:06.73) and was second in the 200 breast (2:24.44), and sophomore
Edward Zappile (Oak Ridge, N.J./Jefferson Twp.) finished second in the 500 free (5:16.61).

Stefan Rosales (Rahway, N.J./St. Joseph's-Metuchen) and
Kevin Thomas (Seaville, N.J./Ocean City) were honored by the Pioneers during Senior Day activities.
William Paterson will visit Adelphi Saturday, Jan.30, at 1:00 p.m.
