WAYNE, N.J. – Women's soccer senior goalkeeper Meaghan Baker (Rockaway, N.J./Morris Knolls) was named the William Paterson Pioneer of the Week Nov. 16.

Baker's outstanding play between the posts helped to lead the Pioneers to the ECAC Metro Region Tournament title. She made one save in 81:20 of action during a 4-0 first-round win against Old Westbury Nov. 11, and had three saves in a 2-1 semifinal victory against New Jersey City Nov. 14. Baker posted three stops during a 2-1 overtime win against NYU in the final Nov. 15, including a spectacular save during the opening minutes of overtime to keep the score tied.
