WAYNE, N.J. – William Paterson (4-7, 0-5 NJAC) finished its 2009 season with an 8-1 loss to visiting Richard Stockton (9-3, 3-2 NJAC) Oct. 29. For three Pioneers seniors -- Heidi Busch (Lakehurst, N.J./Manchester Twp.), Stavroula Ploumitsakos (Lakehurst, N.J./Manchester Twp.) and Lisa Varacallo (Monroe Twp., N.J./Monroe Twp.) – it was their final match at the William Paterson Tennis Courts.
Sophomore Kimberly Seabeck (Montague, N.J./Port Jervis) earned the only win of the day for the Pioneers, a 3-6, 6-3, 10-4 victory against Alyssa Arabia at sixth singles.

WAYNE, N.J. – William Paterson (4-6, 0-4 NJAC) fell to visiting Ramapo (6-4, 2-1 NJAC) in women’s tennis action, 8-1, Oct. 14.
Sophomore Meghan Crampton (Branchville, N.J./High Point Regional) secured the only victory for the Pioneers, a 7-5, 6-3 triumph against Nicole Lapsley at sixth singles.
William Paterson will finish its 2009 season Sunday, Oct. 18, with a home match against Richard Stockton at 1:00 p.m.

WAYNE, N.J. – William Paterson (4-5, 0-3 NJAC) suffered an 8-1 women’s tennis loss to visiting Kean (6-4, 1-3 NJAC) Oct. 10.
Junior Delnaz Shalforoosh (Haworth, N.J./Northern Valley Regional-Demarest) earned the lone victory for the Pioneers, defeating Annie Ramos at fifth singles, 6-2 and 6-4.
The Pioneers will host Ramapo Wednesday, Oct. 14, at 3:30 p.m.

WAYNE, N.J. – William Paterson had its season record evened at 4-4 following a 7-2 home loss to Drew (2-1) Oct. 7.
Sophomores Meghan Crampton (Branchville, N.J./High Point Regional) and Kimberly Seabeck (Montague, N.J./Port Jervis) defeated Rebecca Olderman and Erica Frederickson, 8-3, at third doubles. Seabeck picked up a victory at fifth singles, 6-1, 6-3, against Olderman for William Paterson’s other point of the afternoon.

Seabeck defeated teammate Janna Domenico (Hammonton, N.J./Hammonton) 6-1, 6-1 to win the D Consolation Final at the NJAIAW Tournament Oct. 3-4 at Drew University.
