MONTCLAIR, N.J. -- The William Paterson women’s swimming and diving team (9-5, 0-4 NJAC) fell in its final dual meet of the season, losing 161-119 at Montclair State (5-5, 2-2 NJAC) Feb. 6. Sophomore Brett Kuchin (Cherry Hill, N.J./Cherry Hill East) posted wins in the 100 (1:11.75) and 200 (2:38.25) breasts. Senior Giana Albruzzese (Parsippany, N.J./Parsippany) finished first in the one-meter required (144.60) dive.

MAHWAH, N.J. -- The William Paterson women's swimming and diving team (9-4, 0-3 NJAC) fell to host Ramapo (5-6, 1-3 NJAC), 159-99, on Feb. 2.
Sophomore Brett Kuchin (Cherry Hill, N.J./Cherry Hill East) posted victories in the 100 (1:12.06) and 200 (2:38.68) breasts. Senior Caitlin Rotondo (Brick, N.J./Methacton) touched first in the 50 free (27.02) and was second in the 100 free (59.27).

PITMAN, N.J. - William Paterson sophomore Brett Kuchin (Cherry Hill, N.J./Cherry Hill East) was selected as the Feb. 1 New Jersey Athletic Conference (NJAC) Women's Swimmer of the Week.
Kuchin posted victories in the 100 breast (1:12.37), 200 breast (2:41.05) and 200 IM (2:29.32) during a 79-43 victory at Division II Adelphi Jan. 30. She also helped lead the 200 medley relay to a victory in a time of 2:03.92.

WAYNE, N.J. – Women’s swimming sophomore Brett Kuchin (Cherry Hill, N.J./Cherry Hill East) was named the William Paterson Pioneer of the Week Jan. 25.
Kuchin turned in excellent times of 1:10.8 and 2:35.6 to win the 100 and 200 breasts, respectively, as well as a time of 2:23.8 to touch first in the 200 IM, against Division II Queens Jan. 20.

WAYNE, N.J. -- The William Paterson women’s swimming and diving team (8-3, 0-2 NJAC) lost to visiting The College of New Jersey (7-1, 3-0 NJAC), 203-78, on Senior Day at Wightman Pool Jan. 24.
Freshman Kerry Doris (East Brunswick, N.J./East Brunswick) had a pair of personal-best times in the 100 (1:10.80) and 200 (2:29.90) backs to finish third in both races, while senior Giana Albruzzese (Parsippany, N.J./Parsippany) was second in the one-meter (189.45) and three-meter (163.12) dives, to highlight the Pioneers’ efforts.

WAYNE, N.J. – The William Paterson women’s swimming and diving team (8-2) was out-touched at the wall during the final relay event, falling just short in a 146.5 – 137.5 decision against visiting Division II Queens Jan. 20 at Wightman Pool.
The team result came down to the 400 free relay, an event the Knights won by a slim 3:58.61 to 3:58.87 margin.

WAYNE, N.J. -- The William Paterson swimming and diving programs will host an Alumni Meet Saturday, Jan. 23. Warm-ups will begin at 3:00 p.m., with the meet starting at 4:00 p.m. at Wightman Pool.
The order of events will be: 200 medley relay, 25 free, 50 free, 100 free, one-meter dive (two dives), 50 fly, 50 back, 50 breast, 100 IM and 200 free relay. Only alumni who dove for the Pioneers will be eligible to compete in the one-meter.
